Christmas Eve 2009

Ta-daa, finally the Christmas Eve day has come! Many friends are asking me SINCE one month ago, 3 weeks ago, 2 weeks ago, 1 week ago, 6 days ago, 5 days ago, 4 days ago, 3 days ago, 2 days ago, 1 day ago, 23:59 ago, 6 hours ago, and even until this hour - Where are you going to celebrate???

And each and every time when they asked, I am sure to reply: "LOL, be piggy at home lo... YOU ler?" I really planned to stay at home, to surf net, to update my long outdated blog, to do mask, to eat fruits and to sleep early. Maybe the truth is none of my friends' plan can temp me out until this moment :P Anyway, anyhow, whatever shit - I went out on this Christmas EVE. Blahhhh, sorry friends, I didn't meant not to go out with you on such meaningful day but really I'm sick of going to have the same celebration each and every year, FML

Today is Dec 24th - Same routine every month - I must be busy until the butt can't even leave my chair to prepare the monthly payroll, FML. Thank you to my heartening boss tapao bento from Little Ben for me.

I totally have NO IDEA where are we heading to have dinner tonight. He just "officially informed" me to dress pretty, that's it! Osh.. pretty can be in many form, right? Be it casual or formal.. Scratching my head for one hour. Finally, I decided to dress a sleeveless pinky lace top + a wild skirt. :D

We are arguing in the car for where to eat later? I suggested few places for him to choose but he keep saying NO, NO, NO! Without realize, his car is keep moving when I scratching my brain so hard to think where to eat. Then he makes his way to here - Windmill, Subang Jaya.

I think sei loh go windmill mie, where got table to sit on such peak hours???

Steamboat buffet @ Tasty Pot again

I don't know why normally after I introduced one restaurant/cafe, sure lotsa friends ask me go dine and dine again. I cannot deny that I love steamboat so much but though I am NOT planning to have it every month. Hmm.. friends, if you ask I will go with you "again" provided my tongue is still sensitive and alive. Close my eyes already can feel how are those food going to taste and smell =_="

Thought to wear my pinky hair band, but my fringe is too long. I know I will be sweating a lot later

I am eating lesser and lesser nowadays so really not worth to have buffet at anywhere out there. Luckily there is giving the meat crab not "flower" crab only tonight. One KG is about RM 30 - 35 selling out there. My friend alone at least had killed 4kg tonight. RM 30 x 4kg = RM 120. They charge RM 26-80 per head exclude drinks. Total 2 of us is RM 53-60 plus drink about RM 60!

We still untung finally ya, yippy!!!

Xmas'09 @ One Utama

Jingle Bell! Jingle Bell! Jingle all the way!!! HO-HO-HO! Already year end lo and is time to exchange gift with my chums as usual practice. Last year we were at Mid Valley and this year we are here - One Utama!

Hmmm.. seems like everyone is getting prettier and slimmer except me, wtf! But, very happy and gratitude that we still gathered again this year :D

Last year, we budgeted at RM15 for gift exchange then this year I suggested to increase to RM25! So, we can get something much more useful one.

Without any planning, we decided to give a try on DAVE'S CAFE.

Pretty disappointed with the decoration here.. Not as nice as JJ, Bkt Tinggi which nearby my house and as happening as Sunway Pyramid which is the hottest shopping mall for me :(

Then, Elaine wanted to eat her favorite DURIAN ice-cream. We drop by the outlet to get one!

Elaine went off with her bf and Vivien also went off with her hubby. Balance 4 of us continue to jalan-jalan lo.

Finally, decided to drop by Starbucks to KPC ( kepochi meant gossiping ) LOL!

Oh yeah, before we drop by here, we actually drop by one accessories shop to shop for ear rings!

RM 20 for 6 pairs so I got one for myself, Hui Juin also got one. Mei Peng and Chin Pei both got 2 for each others.

Another oh yeah, I bought the cream puff before drop by here. Coz they all said very HO JIAK wor. Hmm.. I personally don't really like cream but really wanted to give a try so I bought 3 to share with them.

That's all for the day. We are getting older and slowly everyone will be busy with their own family and career. It's not easy to really put up a day - to come out - to have lunch / dinner / hi-tea / yumcha - to KPC and many more. I remembered last year we spent almost a day together except Mei Peng back to office to continue to work. This year pula 2 went off with their partner, sigh!

Anyway, still very appreciate you gals to make the day for me! I enjoyed the lunch @ Dave's, enjoyed picking the ear-rings, enjoyed walking here and there just to look for a place to sit down, enjoyed the time with you all...
